Granada is one of the pearls of Spain, most visited by tourists from all the world. The long-time capital of Moorish Andalusia has to offer the most important reminds of this epoch in Spanish history, with the world-famous Alhambra at the top of the list. Walk through beautiful gardens, charming narrow streets filled with flowers, sit down in one of those typical taverns to have some of that famous “Trevélez” ham and local wine, and breath the centuries of history around you anywhere. There are gypsies singing “Flamenco”, and don’t miss to visit their famous “Cuevas” – caves – in the mountain of the monastery of Sacromonte where some of them really live still nowadays making magnificent artisany. Granada’s popular festivals, based as well on Moorish as Christian tradition, are most attractive.The city is located at the foot of the “Sierra Nevada”, the Iberian Peninsula’s highest mountain-massif with great possibilities for winter-sports. The highest peak is the “Mulhacén” at 3478 meters. On the other hand it is not far from the Mediterranean sea, so Granada is a great place to visit in any season.

Day 1 Arrival and Day at Leisure

Arrival at Granada airport or Rail Station, where you are met and transferred to the 4 star NH Collection Granada Victoria (or similar 4 star hotel) with accommodation in Superior room including breakfast daily.

Day 2 Alhambra Palace Tour with Generalife Gardens

Meet your guide at the main entrance to the Alhambra Palace at the pre-arranged time. Collect your entrance ticket from your guide, bypass the main ticket lines, and begin your visit to this unique complex. With your guide, discover the Nasrid Palaces that lie at the heart of Alhambra, and hear interesting stories about the rulers that once lived here as you admire the splendors and peculiarities of the Moorish architecture. Next, explore the impressive palace of Emperor Charles V, built inside the Alhambra: its Renaissance style in striking contrast to the Moorish style of the Nasrid residences. Lastly, stroll around the Alhambra’s beautiful gardens (Jardines del Partal), passing through the ruins of the old town (Madinat al Hamra) and ending with a visit to the unique Generalife Gardens. These glorious gardens are a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and were built as part of the country estate of the sultans.

Day 3 Day at Leisure

1.5 Hour Flamenco Show in a Cave-Restaurant in Granada

Arrival time to the cave is at 9:30pm for both options, with or without meal, starting the show at 10pm, The duration is around 70 minutes. Enjoy a great experience in this cave-Restaurant located in Granada, in the Albaycín District, only 5 minutes from the city center. This century-old cave is possibly the most impressive cave dedicated to Flamenco, as much for its lighting and elegant décor as for its size. In El Templo del Flamenco you can enjoy one the best Flamenco Shows in Granada. Flamenco in its purest form, full of magic, power and emotion, which always connects with the audience. What is expressed on the Tablao takes the spectator on an emotional journey through the most rhythmic “palos” of Flamenco: alegrías, tangos, soléas por bulerías, seguiriyas or bulerías.
